A question was asked at a recent show about the effects on stock and horses drinking from water dosed with our Dam and Trough Clean products.
The active ingredient of all of our products is basically 6 proprietary strains of bacillus bacteria. There is an oxygenation agent to help with the heavy loads of manure inflow, but basically good bacteria! The dosing required to slowly clean slime and algaes from stored water is so small as to have no negative affect on horses or cattle. The selected strains of bacteria can be considered a probiotic and as such, have a positive effect on the guts of ruminent and monogastric livestock.
